    This course enables students to critically examine these global shifts and understand how international media organizations, policies, and technologies shape communication flows in different regions of the world.The course introduces learners to global media theories, international communication models, and comparative media systems, highlighting the role of media in globalization, cultural exchange, and power relations. Key themes such as international news flow, media ownership and concentration, cultural imperialism, media deregulation, soft power, and information inequality are explored in detail.
